How to Protect Facebook Profile Picture

What is Facebook Profile Picture Guard

Facebook introduced a new feature called Profile Picture Guard, that prevents your profile photo from being stolen. Profile Picture Guard allows anyone to protect their profile photo and gain more control over it. Users who elect to guard their profile through the new system will ensure that others can't send, share, or download their picture, and will keep strangers from tagging themselves in the image. Only you and your Facebook friends can tag your current profile picture. Once protected an image of a shield will be added to your current profile picture. The shield helps show people that your profile picture should be respected.
